2010 Parade Committee

Committee Descriptions:
Procedures: Some responsibilities include attending Corvette Club meetings to acquire cars for the parade, ensuring car banners are ready, and that Corvette drivers have goody bags and dinner prior to the parade.
Parade Entries: You will be a part of getting the Greek houses and RSO’s to register their floats. This may include making dinner announcements. Another major responsibility is putting the floats in order and overlooking the float standing area on the day of the parade.
Pre-Parade Reception: As a part of this committee you will help to plan the catering, sending out invites, and greeting guests the day of the reception.
Public Relations: The main purpose of this committee is to get the word about the parade to both the community and campus.
Although there are separate committees, each committee will be responsible for helping with dinner announcements and on the day of the parade. The committee will have meetings on Mondays at 8 p.m. starting in the fall. It is important that this time does not regularly conflict with other obligations.
